Invite users and assign groups#
Admins invite users to a workspace and assign them to groups. ToolJet provides default roles such as Admin, Builder, and End-user, and supports custom groups such as Support, Engineering, or Finance.
Define access by resource#
Group permissions can control access to apps, folders, workspace variables, data sources, and other resources. The documented model supports granular access rather than relying on one organization-wide role.
Apply the model to an app#
A practical setup is to create groups for the teams that use an app, grant each group only the resources it needs, and test the released app as an end user. ToolJet also documents making an app public when a login is not required.
