Permissions and workspaces in ToolJet
Organize users in workspaces#
Admins can invite users to workspaces and assign them to groups. Groups collect users who need the same access model.
Use roles and groups#
ToolJet documents default roles such as Admin, Builder and End-user. You can also create custom groups such as Support, Engineering or Finance.
Set permissions#
Permissions determine what group members can access. The public documentation describes controls for apps, folders and workspace variables, with additional permissions for data sources.
Secure data sources#
Admins and Super Admins can configure data-source permissions. The documented options include creating and deleting sources, plus viewing or editing permitted source credentials.
Start with the smallest group of users who need access. Expand permissions as the workflow becomes clear.
